Handmade seasonal cards

Seasonal Handmade cards

Hello friends, today I want to share some cards inspired by the seasons of the year.

My two favorite seasons are spring and winter. Flowers are a sight of beauty and when the flowers are in bloom it makes me happy and cheers my day. Two cards based on spring season. I have use vellum to make the flowers, and colored them in soft pastel hues. Watercolor the background in a colorful marbled look. Third card is based on winter season. Winter is so much fun, the weather is pleasant, festive mood is on and there is so mush love and bonding with family and friends. The winter inspired cards have small winter figures made with vellum and adhered to the cardbase. Hope you like the cards.

Shabby Chic altered frame

 Shabby Chic altered frame

Hello crafty friends, sharing another of my project. This time it is an altered frame with  lovely pop of colors. The main highlight of this frame are the handmade embellishments using collage sheets and sequins from my stash.I got them @papericious and they are adorable.  As crafters we are all guilty of hoarding so many stuffs and here I share some tips on how we can use them differently.

Entering this project for the August Challenge At:

I have been inspired by the moodboard theme  and colors and have incorporated those in my altered frame layout. Two elements that struck me were the roses and umbrella.I created the umbrella by using die cut papers and completed the look with papericious sequins. Created those dome shakers with papericious collage sheets. finish with handmade flowers and cutout elements.
Current Monthly Challenge

Inspired by the friendship theme and the bright colors, I  have created this project. For me friends are like umbrella  that keeps us dry and protects us from rain. Friendship is represented by the umbrella embellishments used in the altered frame. Good friends are a blessing, they are there for us through thick and thin.

2) MORE THAN WORDS: My inspiration for the word Hello is My own Wedding  Day 11.12.2012. Seven and half years back, this is how family, friends and the world greeted us " Hello, Mr and MRS"...For the creative challenge, I have chosen a white window  at the upper upper part of layout. Wedding Day is a big Day and  moment for every person. Personally it was such a big transition in my life. A new chapter, a new horizon, a new direction. Am happy and blessed to go along this direction.
