Dear all, happy to share my new project
 #Timeless beauty, altered tin box.

The inspiration of this project is my love for phaelanopsis orchid. I had few blooms this year and they were lovely. As I wanted to preserve it, I pressed dried the orchid and put in resin. This is my first time using resin and of course it didn't came out crisp, however I am elated with the results. This project will be very much close to my heart.

Decoupage/ blending the edges with distress ink:
Crafting has always been my passion, especially more so when I can create endless projects the way I wanted. Discovering new arts, techniques and playing with new tools is a crafters delight. I don't  want to limit my work to a limited type but want to explore new possibilities. Decoupage is one of my first crafts that I felt in love, the  beautiful and vintage napkins captivated me and took me some years of practice and patience to produce decent crafts.
Here, is one of my projects for Mother's Day gifts for a dear friend of mine. I am much delighted to get the ranger's distress ink and blender finally. I applied it to the above project and totally love the effect it gave. I got it from the itsy bitsy online store, India. Thanks IB for the amazing product. Can't wait to get more varieties of color again.
