Altered kettle& mugs

Hello crafty friends, thanks for dropping by. Here I share my latest work, an altered kettle with mugs.

Entering for challenges:

1) Splashymix: Inspired by the moodboard colors : peach, pink, green and white and the elements flowers and cake I have altered a kettle with matching mugs. I added some fun 3D decoupage cupcakes. Serving black tea from the kettle  is very much part of my local culture at all ocassions. After seeing the happy celebration/ occasion theme I was inspired to alter a kettle inspired by all the elements of the current challenge moodboard.

2) Itsy bitsy: I have altered the kettle and mugs using the new archival multi surface paints from itsy bitsy. I have used three shades white, orange, pink randomly to cover the kettle and mug base. Thereafter, did 3D decoupage cupcakes using decoupage paper from itsy bitsy and pattern designs using transferme sheets.

Herne: The white stag

Hello crafty friends, sharing my project.

Entering for Challenges at

1. Mixed Media Academy: inspired by the theme and on going hop" mythical creatures", I have chosen the mythical creature Herne, the god of the hunt and protector of the forest. In Celtic mythology, in his form he takes the shape of the White Stag. In this project Herne, the white stag is seen roaming around in the darkness and beauty of the night. I have been immensely inspired by all the beautiful creations of each artists.  Thankyou for the awesome hop.

2. More than Words: Inspired by the word Night, my mixed media frame features Herne (white stag), the god of the hunt and protector of the forest ,roaming around in the darkness and beauty of the night. I like the night sky, without the dark we'd never see the stars. Its a no flower project.
